We're looking forward to a fun afternoon in the Rose!
The Pigeon Creek Shakespeare Company returns to the Rose with A Midsummer Night's Dream. Shakespeare's beloved comedy was the first play that Pigeon Creek performed in the Rose in 2012, and the company's actors return with this uproarious, magic-filled tale. Humans and fairies meet in the mysterious wood outside of Athens. The king and queen of the fairies are in an argument that causes disturbances in the natural world, four young lovers run away into the woods and experience the confusing effects of fairy magic, and a group of amateur actors see one of their troupe transformed in an astonishing way. A Midsummer Night's Dream will delight audiences of all ages.
Stick around and have a frozen yogurt with the cast after the show!
